Stoke City vs Manchester City Match Report-2018

Two Goals from David Silva helped Manchester City beat Stoke City 2-0 at Bet365 Stadium.

Manchester City were without Sergio Aguero who was out due to knee injury, but his absence was hardly felt as Man City edged a little closer to the Premier League title, with Silva stealing the show.

Man City at Bet 365 Stadium re establish a 16-point lead at the top of the table.

David Silva in the 10th minute found the net early in early stages, after good work from Raheem Sterling who was back after suffering a hamstring injury.

In the second half David Silva against provided a good finish, after a well planned move involving Gabriel Jesus, starting his first Premier League game of the year.

Stoke City tried to fight back, but Bruno Martins Indi shot over from close range but the hosts offered little else as City eased to victory.

Stoke City nearly levelled soon after, but Badou Ndiaye’s 20-yard effort was deflected wide of the bottom-left corner following fine play out wide by Xherdan Shaqiri.

Paul Lambert introduced Peter Crouch in the 63rd minute and made an impact immediately by heading down a free-kick to Martins Indi, who blasted over from about eight yards.
