Crystal Palace vs Manchester United Match Report-2018

Nemanja Matic stunning goal at the stoppage time helped Manchester United who came from two goals down to secure a vital 3-2 victory against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday.

Goals from Andros Townsend and Patrick van Aanholt helped Crystal Palace who took an early lead in the second half, but Man United made a stunning come back to prevent defeat and claim all three points right at the end thanks to Nemanja Matic, who reclaimed the second spot from Liverpool in the Premier League.

Chris Smalling excellent header reduced Palace’s lead and that led to a Man United coming back strongly, with Romelu Lukaku showing great patience when drawing the away side level 14 minutes from time.

Mourinho at half-time had introduced Marcus Rashford for Scott McTominay and adopted a more attacking shape, and after Palace went 2-0 up.

Jesse Lingard in the 40th minute dragged a 25 yard effort harmlessly wide of the bottom left corner.

This was also Crystal Palace’s first ever Premier League defeat in a game in which they were leading by two or more goals.

De Gea produced a remarkable stop from a Benteke header which proved decisive, as Man United went on to claim all three points.
