Danny Welbeck scored twice for Arsenal in the first half as they returned to winning ways by beating Bournemouth 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The Gunners, who came into the game with back to back defeats by Stoke and Liverpool, made the perfect start when Welbeck headed them in front in the 6th minute.
Record signing Alexandre Lacazette doubled the lead in the 27th minute, bending a shot past Cherries goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from the edge of the area.
Welbeck than added another goal in the second half by scoring from a tight angle.
Alexis Sanchez, who was close to joining Manchester City on transfer deadline day, came on for Welbeck in the second half with 15 mins remaining.
Arsenal were forced to play with 10 men in the last 10 minutes after substitute Francis Coquelin left the field following a hamstring injury, but Bournemouth failed to make use of their numerical advantage.
