32 year old Notts County central midfielder Neil MacKenzie has joined Port Vale on a month long loan deal. Mackenzie’s most recent loan spell was with Bluesquare Premiership side Kidderminster Harriers, where he scored once in four appearances.
MacKenzie is expected to feature in Notts County’s second round FA Cup clash against Macclesfield Town. He has played for Macclesfield in the 2004-05 season, scoring one goal in twenty four appearances.
Port Vale will be the Birmingham born MacKenzie’s 10th club.
Port Vale have also signed Stockport defender Gareth Owen and Cheltenham midfielder Scott Brown on loan till January in the last week.
Port Vale are currently in 14th place in the Coca Cola Football League Two, with twenty points from eighteen games.
Macclesfield Town have the same number of points, but have a game in hand.
