Manchester City have confirmed that they are releasing 10 of their players as they aim to qualify for Europe next season with Mark Hughes as their manager.

Paul Dickov ( Scotland) ( Joined on a two year contract in May 2006)
Sun Jihai ( China) ( Joined the club in February 2002)
Garry Breen ( Ireland) ( Was part of the City youth system)
Michael Daly ( Ireland)
Ashley Grimes ( England)
Christian Mouritsen ( Faroe Islands)
Filippo Mancini ( Italy) ( Was on loan from Inter Milan- is Roberto Mancini’s son)
Andrea Giombetti ( Italy)
Geovanni has now moved to Hull City.
Sun Jihai has gone to Sheffield United
Garry Breen has signed for Hereford United
