Torres out for another two weeks with hamstring strain
Just as Liverpool thought that their star striker had recovered from his hamstring injury, new scans have reveaed that Fernando Torres will be out of action for another two to three weeks. Torres strained his right hamstring in Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Marseille on Wednesday. He played the full ninety minutes in the game, which Liverpool won thanks to Steven Gerrard’s early headed goal.
