The 37 year old stopper has been plying his trade with Bordeaux since 1997 and will now stay with them till the end of the 2010/11 season.

After averaging around 30 league appearances in previous seasons for Bordeaux, Rame has found opportunities hard to come by this year after the club signed Cedric Carrasso from Toulouse in the summer. In the 2009-10 season, Rame has only featured four times in Ligue 1 for the defending champions.
